EVERY LEATHER HAS A STORY
As supply chain manager, we know exactly where our Lamp / Sheep skin come from. Each lot of the skin can be traced. For each hide, G&B Leather can even specify the stall in which the skin was housed, what it was fed and in which truck it was transported.
We have a comprehensive leather traceability system capable of tracking hides back to the farm groups where they were sourced from. This system also keeps records of every process, including the chemical inputs, tests, machinery and technical specifications. This information is used internally to support product integrity and allow continuous improvement studies. All Kind Leather products are tanned at facilities that are Leather Working Group (LWG) Silver Rated, with 100% of the hides physically marked and traceable.
All our leathers come from our agreed tannery, so we can offer you absolute guarantees for their quality.
The short distance between our slaughterhouse and our tannery means that we can move quickly between them and therefore bypass the salting and desalting step. This is cost effective and better for the environment.
